Default who on here has a lowered car with 11's that didnt roll there fenders?

I had a prokit on my car, and i just put some sportlines on. and i cant roll my fenders bc i just got some body work done on the rear fender. is there anyone on here that has 11's on a lowered car without needing to roll their fenders?

You can always run a 295 instead of a 315 to gain some room.

my buddy has the prokit on his 99 with fiske 17x11 w/ 315s, fenders were not rolled when he forst got the car but after driving for a few week he got tired of seeing the tires getting ate up. Can't see how the sportlines would work w/ 11s .... maybe with 295s maybe ...

just see if it is cutting the tire. obviously if the lip cuts the tire/ rubs bad you'll have to do something, otherwise, dont worry

I have not yet. However I am running BFG DRs. When I put my 315 Goodyear DS G3 (or whatever the name is) that might change since those tires are super wide.

There is a guy here on the boards that ran Sportlines on his LT1 with his 18s and his tires were pretty cut up when I rolled his fenders. Sportlines make the car sit pretty low. With a pro kit I would say you MIGHT be able to get away with it if you are careful but with a sportline kit I doubt it.

hey man i might have you do mine still if thats cool. I know for sure i can get the passneger side done. and i might wait a couple more weeks and you could maybe roll my drivers side fendr, but just not do it all the way to the front( bc i got a little bondo placed there). maybe that'll work

I use 315/35/17's slicks w/ 50mm BS front and rear when I race. 7/32nd spacer on the wheel hub as well. I don't get any rub but I doubt I'm as low as you. I can't go lower without risking damage to my collectors. The race tires are much more rounded along the edge, and my street tires would rub if I dropped it too much.

It depends on the car height and the brand of tires. Like Urban Legend mentioned, BFG's are alot wider then most.
I had 315 Nitto 555r's and had no problems, but when I put on the 315 BF Goodrich G-Force KD's it was rub city everywhere. I had to roll the fenders and beat in the wheel well.
Tire brands have their own idea of sizes, keep that in mind.

Peace,
Craig.

I did have Eibach Pro-Kit with Bilstein's, now I have Koni single adj. with Hotchkis.

I beleive most of Goodyear tires are very narrow, I know the old F1's that came on SS's were very very narrow where they sat inside the wheel lip. If thats how your GSC's sit you might be ok.....*might. Depends on your cars height.
You have Sportlines now, what shocks.....stock? If so, your car will be very very low.

Peace,
Craig.

ya my shocks are stock, BUT my friend said he was having problems getting the front shock's off of my old prokit so he had to use some extra autozone shocks that i had.. not sure how good those are haha.
