Denton Dragway anybody? Does anybody ever go out to the Denton Dragway? I haven't been but it's right by school, and I'm thinkin' about going out there with some friends this week. I've heard it's kind of quiet, which is cool bc I won't be embarrassed if I get a crappy run.

I havent been in a long long time. A couple friends were out there saturday evening and the track was hookin pretty good from what they said.

my good friend ran his truck there saturday and the track was hooking good from what he said.
small block n/a pump gas 55 chevy truck on a 1.60 7.50 pretty damn good.

I had also heard it is closed but I went to their website and it showed they would be open this weekend. I had heard several diff. stories on their closing, one was due to the owner getting a divorce and the wife wanting it and another was it had been closed due to vandalism (That is what was posted on their website for a while and they were offering a $10K reward). Newayz, If there are several people going, I would like to take my Formula out as well since I am only like 75 miles away. I know I will get a crappy run with bald 245's. Oh, and I have been to the track many times, a few with a 98 v6/5M camaro and a good many with my 71 chev. pickup on street tires. I love that track.
