Driver tail light dimming under acceleration?

Driver tail light dimming under acceleration? A friend told me during acceleration my driver side tail light dimmers and gets brighter when shifting gears and then goes dim again after shifting gears, the other was fine he said whats the problem you think....??

Sounds like you have a wire being stretched or loosing contact when the engine torques over. That would explain why it only happens during accel, and is normal when shifting. Proabably a ground problem. I would check the battery cables first, and then look at the grounds for the tail lights.
