ok im just gonna ask... WHAT MAKES SOME MUSTANGS SO DANG LOUD??? i admit it...i LOVE the sound that some of them make...how? it cant be mostly exhaust...

Adam, Go buy a loud mouth exhaust for your car and run no cats you'll be loud. Then again I would just buy a hooker catback set up because its quiet at idle and low rpms and it screams up top. that way you don't attract attention to yourself. Not like you don't already with the sic paint you have

To me nothing sounds as good at an 03/04 cobra or mach because of the 4 valve with long tubes,x pipe,no cats, and catback. Its the sexiest sound to ever rumble out of a car.

Most of them are just all bark, no bite. However that bark is exactly why they're so popular. I'd take a better designed LS series motor any day, even if i have to get inventive to make them sound well.

My SS is alot louder than my stang, and imo it sounds better, the stang has a "tin can" sound to it, both are nice, but the SS has this pop/crackle to it that is just badass

Guy next door has a 03 GT with Mac's, x pipe, and Pro-Chambers [stang mufflers/resonators], and it is one of the loudest and best sounding cars..it still has cats.

adam buy some long tubes and I'll help you put them in. Get the FLPs that way you can swap out cats and no cats when you get tired of the freaking loudness. Also have your dad sponsor me! My transmission is going out and I can't really drive my car with out messing it up more! j/k he doesn't have to sponsor me unless he really wants to
