ok i was going to put some hooker long tube headers with an y-pipe and a cut out,but a buddy of mine said he can make me a custom y-pipe and put the cut out in frount before the cats and exaust so both of my stock headers will open up, will this do anything are should i just wait until i get my headers??

I had cutouts in place of my stock cats... welded to the stock y-pipe... very loud.... kept having problems with the electric motors on em...... definately a power gain though....

stick with headers.... just wait.
