Best way to spend 3k?

Best way to spend 3k?
I am selling my 01 Yamaha Banshee and will be putting the money back into my car. (no nitrous) So, what is the best bang for the buck for my car? I do not want a drag car. I want more usable street/highway all around constant on power. (no nitrous) I know it does work though!
Car options: Bilstien, Auburn rearend(323 gear), Firehawk package w/ lid
Car add ons: LS6 motor from GM, tranny cooler, 2800 vig stall, ls1 edit, cut out, sticky cornering tires (Kumho MX's all 4)
What to get for more mid to top end power. The stall can get me out of the hole just fine. 1.7 60ft
I will have 3k to spend wisely! back into my car. I do not like the lag of a 65 to 70 mph stomp. (damn stick cars in 3rd gear) 1st and 2nd move but after that it slows down. I want to add that power to the mid and top end of the car.
So with that in mind please give me some ideas. I will look for used and GP/specials from sponsors
Hi to all I have not talked to in a long time. Been on the atv lately.

And if you don't have any debt, send the 3k to me and I'll pay off much of mine.
I'd get a small cam and some heads. Easily done for 3k if you install yourself.

Well, I have no debt except for car and home. If I save another 1k I will buy my STS turbo kit which wil be purchased when car is paid off. This is something to do until that day. I think I will try for a good mid/top end cam, headers of course and maybe a set of heads or have mine done by a friend to help tie it together.
What about a 373 or 410 gear? I ran a 410 in my LT1 Z28 and it was fun with the A4. This car does not leave Houston and rarely is driven so the gear highway issue is not a problem for me.

Rememember what happened to your previous car on nitrous. I would hate to hear that happen to your Hawk.
Adding power without beefing up the rear end was my problem in the Trans Am. If I had it to do over again, I would have started with a 12-bolt with 3.73's and then saved up for a turbo kit.

I say you get 10 $300 hookers, or better yet how about 100 $30 hookers!
