lol, Nice to finally see that thing driven around. He look like he was a bit afraid of it. Nice to hear him say at the end that it probably the best bang for the buck when it comes to high end cars.

I wouldn't know since I've never actually watched the show. But thanks for the highly insightful post though

The point of the post was that the British, when reviewing an American car, usually talk down American cars. Especially when it comes to road racing.

This was the first time I've actually heard the British talk up an American car.

I hear ya, thats one of the reasons I don't like the show. Any car that isn't a Porsche or a Ferrari than its garbage. Unless its a 12 cylinder VW or Audi.

Didn't mean to bash on your thread, I just worked with some ricers for about 8 months at my old job and they would stream top gear all goddamn day and would imitate it....

Drove me up a ******* wall. One reason I ended up leaving that job.

I'm right there bud. I always hated it when American cars got bashed on non-american shows. Kinda like seeing your sister getting punched in the stomach. Nausiating....

And ricers?.....don't get me started

Theyve actually said good things about a few cars but one thing they always say is how cheap American interior is.

A shame then, because the link is to a cap of a Fifth Gear video, not Top Gear.

I was more ranting about how shows over there always bash american cars, even nice ones. I've seen enough on "Top Gear" to make me sick. My apologies for not watching the video, but scanning the link and apparently wasting everyone's time.

Whats funny is that over there owning an American car is "frowned upon". But when they move over to the US the first thing they do is go out and buy a GM or Ford pickup

I was in Scotland about 3 years ago and I can count the number of American cars that I saw over there on one hand. But like I say, that all changes when they come here to live...

my step dad went to high school with that guy.
My step dad bashes american cars the same way, saying its pointless to own one beacuse it cant make a turn, he wants a new car and i told him to test drive the c6 and he laughed and said he wanted somehting like a bmw z4 because he wanted to make turns.

he is getting this link emailed to him now
