Anyone work at carmax? Does anyone here work at carmax?..i have been trying to sell my car ive had it up here like 3 times. And i never get interest at all. For an 11 yr old car its awesome. So what do you think carmax will give me for my 95 lt1,full exhaust,with 105k on it?

they wont give you much for it since they cant sell it on the lot since its modded, my friend that works at one is about to buy a 98 z28 awesome shape, clear title, 95k miles, leather, but auto and it has catback on it so they cant sell it on the lot so they bought it from the guy for 2800 and selling it to him for 3k.

Modded cars don't hit lots.....my wife's ex-husband works @ carmax in houston and when they were married she got a modded celica with low miles and pretty new, for cheap. you won't get much of anything for the car between the age and the mileage.

I work there but I work in the shop. You will get around blue book value for it. They don't care about mods and due to the year and mileage we can't sell it on the front lot. They will buy it from you though but only expect around blue book value. Good luck.
