You can also enter the Texasdragracing.com Fastest Street Car race. 50 Mile cruise on the highway, three back to back passes for your average. Fastest 3 pass average wins. Only $15.00 to enter this race and that includes entrance and race fee.
Hope you all can come and join us. It's going to be a badass race.

Its a little far for me to go for that kind of race. Mine is by no means the fastest street car. I would like some index classes of some kind. THanks anyway, maybe another time!

Well, we still have plenty of time, so we can break it up into index classes if we get enough interest. We can break it up as follows;
$300 for Top Dog (anything faster than 9.99) + Trophy
$150 for Top Dog Runner Up + Trophy
$150 for 10.00 class + Trophy
$125 for 11.00 class + Trophy
$75 for 12.00 class + Trophy
That would be only for the Fastest Street Car class sponsored by Speedcenter. This class is open to any make or model vehicle as long as it follows rules of Fun Ford type race.
30-40 Mile Cruise from the track North for about 15 miles or so (escorted by police). Then back South for about 15 miles or so. Back into the track and all cars must line up in front of spectators as directed by track officials. There will be no opening of hoods, trunks or re-fuels. All cars must run on a DOT type tire. All cars will make 3 back to back passes. Make your pass and get back in line. Winners will be chosen out of fastest 3 run average in each class.
For the F-Body side, www.SouthTexasFbodies.com will be running an open Non-Electronics type bracket race. Open to any and all F-Bodies. They will announce their prizes for that class. They will also be hosting a car show with prizes to be announced.
Any and all F-Bodies will only pay $10.00 to watch or race except F-Bodies running in the Fastest Street Car class. Those cars will pay $15.00 to run.
That pretty much sums up the plan. Gates will open at 4pm and we will run into the night.
