LS1 Stealth

Well I am having a problem with the rear end/suspension on a 02 Camaro Z28. When I am driving on the highway it drives great...but when I hit a pothole, bump on the road, or pull into a store with a incline it makes a hollow thumb sound. it sound like the rearend is going to fall off. Any ideas of what could be wrong or past experiences would be appreciated. What should I replace?

dunno..have you checked th spring angle..one could be turned around..this happened to me its pretty annoying..i turned the spring and it stopped..

Maybe your torque arm mount, mine made a similar noise when it needed to be replaced.
