I broke mine on Drag radials with a lid and a cut-out. Launching hard on slicks is playing russian roulette with your rear end.

They are hit and miss, i raced my cam only TA I had for like 11 months with the stock rear end. i went to the track or street races like 3-4 nights a week and ran 7.2-7.3 with high 1.5 60's. then I got on it beside some corvette reving at me in traffic on my way home one day and broke it there

you blow the tires away with a good 3500 launch that good launch on the street. Then they hook.

It will only work if you dump the clutch from a HIGH rpm, say 6500. Please take vid.

Will it hold? From my experience with the Trans Am, nope. And that was on Nittos, not ET Streets. Twisted the axle and bent stuff up pretty good. My clutch was the first thing to go, though. Replaced the clutch, and I blew the rear on the very first pass attempt the next time I hit the drag strip.

cheaper than rebuilding a 10 bolt that will continue to break no matter how well it is built.
