Default State Police Camaro

Has anyone noticed the State Police Camaro with an Ultra Z hood in the Grapevine Area?

from what I am told the only real dps camaro still in service is in the lubbock area. I know of some guys around texas that have taken the old DPS camaros and DPS mustangs and restored them back to origonal dps condition I.E. Lightbar , Siren, Radar, Radios, even grapics and licence plates some of which can be purchased from DPS now they are suposed to take that stuff off when they are driving but i know some dont. I know Mr. Collins does but cant speak for some of the others. I know I do aswell. http://www.angelfire.com/bc3/policemustang/

I've seen a black SS cop car in Grapevine several times in the past few weeks, including tonight. Always near the 114/121 merger area.

I still see one of the DPS Camaros in the Waco/Crawford Texas area.

Here is a picture of the DPS Camaros at DPS HQ in Austin Texas when they took delivery in May 02.

Driving from Ft. Worth to Dallas last night on 114, I saw a camaro police car of some sort. I didn't see the paint, but the tail lights, head lights, and rack on top were unmistakable.

Ya'll have great eyes...lol

It's me. I've been working off duty doing traffic control with TXDOT crews at night in Grapevine. Throw the lightbar on it, put the magnetics on, then sit and watch that no one runs over the hired help.

Figure that the car was set up for this kind of work, now it at least can still do it and make me some extra $$.

Good eyes guys
