Need Help Please inspection and CODES

Default Need Help Please inspection and CODES

Service engine light came on a while back 00 T/A i took it to auto zone and the code read P0751. Can anyone tell me what that codes means??? I had the code deleted so the service engine light turned off. My inspection is due so i was wondering since the service engine light was turned off will the Machine that does the inspection pick up the code or the same problem even if the light no longer comes on and will it pass inspection Please Help

If the check engine light isn't on the code will still show up on your inspection report, but its only a history code so it'll pass.

autozone should have some little book with all the codes for the car to let you know what it is

The inspection report should tell you the code number and description too...that is if its still in the system.

Hell, you can probably find it on the internet.

That is a common code due to transmission slippage. Do you have a stall convertor? Look over in the transmission section and you'll find the P0751 and P0757?, I think. If you have HPTuner or EFILive or LS1Edit you can turn those off and you won't get the codes again.
