Tranny shop in FT. Worth area!!! hi gang. i lost my 3-4 clutch pack (i think) last night.
i have a built trans, 1 and 2 are fine, but 3rd and 4th got some serious slippage.
im looking for a local shop that could quickly service the trans.
i'll pull it and del. shipping isnt an option at this time...its my daily driver.
dont need to change anything, just possibly the clutch pack and bands and general good servicing with QUALITY parts.
the original build was for 450-550, but now im teatering just above that at wot.
this is for a C5 vette 4l60e.
again, driving around 1st and 2nd no probs. reverse is fine.
cant afford the big gun tranny that will hold 800+h at the moment.

Hey man, Specialty Transmission in Duncanville is who rebuilt my tranny a few months ago. He is VERY reasonable, and I have put this car through racing 2-3 times every week and tranny is still good as gold! I think this is who Billy may recommend. This guy is the only one around that I know builds the 4L's right!

got the tranny out...total of 4hrs so im ready to drop it off somewhere.
left message for trent.
talked with jason at tx drive train. he passed me to somebody else...left message with them...
