anyone from the Lubbock or Midland Odessa area? I'm from Hobbs NM but the majority of my time is spent in west texas. A couple of weeks ago me and a really quick evo messed around in Lubbock. This guy was runnin so much boost that it sounded like an F-16 passed me. This dude was movin through the gears like he didn't have enough of the damn things. After takin my spankins i tried to stay with the guy to get him to stop and let me see his car but he thought i was still tryin to race and cut out at a light. If anyone is from the Lubbock area have you seen/heard this thing?

Is it red? There is a guy with a fast evo in midland that's red. I'm from Midland and spend a decent bit of time there. Try posting this on www.anythingcars.com That's the local site based in midland/odessa and has quite a few members from lubbock.

No this one was black. Have you seen the 13.5 second V6 that frequents the track at Penwell? I hear he's runnin like 200shot or something like that

My bad i guess i should have been more specific-the V6 i mentioned is a black (i think) firebird with a ram air hood. It even sounds like a V8 at idle. Saw him last time out and my jaw dropped.

Yea i used to go to penwell all the time, that V6 fbody did 13's all motor, he does have nitrous on it though i believe. He's related to the people that own abbott heads in the area i believe. What color was the mustang? I have a friend with a black one that won true street at FFW in Ennis with an first pass of 9.25@153 and it's a full blown street car, and is faster now. Not sure which stang is runningin the 7s though. There are alot of fast cars in the area out there. That's the one thing it has for sure.

Im going to visit my boy in Odessa here in the next several weekends, maybe we can go embarass some imports? My boy Andrew who has a black ws6 with a black convertable top and black Zo6 rims and 3" all the way back lives in Odessa also. You know many f-body owners up there?
