Poor Hemi, got walked by a Cummins Funny truck race story, happened last night. The Wife and I were headed out to a club, and I was sitting at a redlight in the new '06 Dodge Ram. I took off kinda fast, to get over and get onto the beltway. I figure I'm doing about 60 mph, and I see a pair of Dodge headlights in a hurry behind me to catch up. The guy rolls up next to me and slows down, then bumps his throttle a couple times. Its a Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab 2wd Hemi. So, we both took off and I put about 5 truck lengths on him by 110 mph.
Probably shocked him, since my truck is a 4x4 with big tires and paper dealer tags on it still. Of course, I already have a TST box (+100 rwhp, 200 ft-lbs) and a filter on it. hehe
Oh yeah, I also whipped up on a Pontiac Soltstice from a redlight and from a roll in this truck. That was earlier in the week. Those things are slooooow!

The other night I ran into a big quad cab deully full of tomball rednecks. The guy wanted to race from a dig so I was like whatever. He launches hardcore off the line(full boost) and I just take off regular then get into the throttle. I came around him pretty hard in first.
Later down the road I got up next to him and chatted a little. The passenger went on to tell me my car was slow and a 8klbs truck took me off the line. I laughed and said maybe I'll launch next time. He then went on to tell me that his buddy(the driver) USED to have a 5.0 that would SMOKE my car. And also his buddy is so rich and can do anything he wants. I just laughed and drove off.

nice job, im a hugh cummins fan. i HATE TST tho. they are ******** there. my dad had his truck at there shop for about two weeks, they didnt even touch it and wanted to charge him 2500 dollars. never buy a clutch from them. they suck.
becareful with the box on there, the comps in the new cummins will learn whats going on and the box will stop working. you can run another box and give you another 70 odd hp and make both the boxes work and not start screwing up

i raced a cummins truck the other day from 50 up to about 100-110 with a buddy in the car, and only put about 5 cars on him. damn fast truck, i have to admit. 2500 4x4 cummins, not sure if he had any mods, i didnt get a chance to talk to him.
