Default why so hot?

Is anyone else having problems adjusting? I came home from living in hawaii the last 10 months and I cant freakin adjust. When I got into the airport it was 6 in the morning and I was already sweating ***** I had to go buy one of those little car shades too. I feel like I'm gonna die just from stepping outside bcause its hotter than jessica alba out. Anyone else havin problems?

Texas weather sucks.. I just got back from vacation in Kauai.. Its hot and humid over there too, but its feels like a "cleaner" humid, where you dont mind sweating, plus you can go jump in the water whenever you want.. I still havent adjusted to this weather since Ive moved here..

This is the hottest summer I've ever seen.

You walk outside, and its just, bam: instant sweat. It really feels like you're walking into a brick wall as you take that step out the door. The heat seems to radiate off of EVERYTHING...

It's July in Texas it's supposed to be hot. I guess most of ya'll don't remember the summer of 1980 then do ya? I think we set a record of the most days in a row of at or over 110 degrees. Hell I don't even use the A/C in my car unless the kids are with me. If it don't kill ya it will only make you stronger.

It is just the humidity that sucks. When I was in Las Vegas last summer it was like 107-111 and felt great. It was hot as hell but no humidity, you could breathe and not feel like you are drowning lol.

one of the first summers that i moved here, it was hot as *****, 3 months in a row reaching over 100 degress. that was hot, but this is disgusting. last nite i went outside around 8pm and i felt like i was going to choke it was so humid.

i'd rather live in arizona and it be 110 then texas and it be 95. humidity makes a word of difference.

One of our stops back from Hawaii was Phoenix, we had a 6 hour lay over, so we decided to walk around Tempe, 112* out and we barely broke a sweat.. I would take it over Texas heat any day of the week..

i've lived in TX all my life, and still haven't adjusted to the heat+humidity

and yeah, i get a kick out of all the people up north bitching about the heat, it's pretty funny stuff....come to TX for a month in the summer, then go back home, and you'll be freezing your *** off up there.....

I prefer the heat to the bitter cold any day. Although spring time weather would be great but like it has been stated it is Texas in July and the hot month is not until August. I heard on the radio this morning in 1980 it was 110 today in 1980 so it could be worse or it could be better just depends on what side of the fence your on.

Me too! The heat and humidity dont bother me really, but Im cold natured. I get that from my mom. I wrenched on the duster for ~7-8 hours sturday in the garage and yes i was dripping sweat but hey I just jumped in the pool when I was done and that was that. I work outside for an average of 5 hours I would say and I move slower in the hottest summer monthes sure, but thats just life. I'll take a hot *** summer over a freezing snowlocked winter any day!

It would be nice if we could get some rain, maybe spread out over a month not these one day downpours and then nothing for 3 weeks.

No me, I would take the freezing cold over heat.. At least you can where thicker clothes to keep warm, and get a big propane heater to keep you warm in the shop.. With the heat, you're just SOL..

A man of very true/wise words

I personally hate the heat and would rather it be cold but they both have their good and bad points.

I never use a/c unless I'm nicely dressed and going to church or something. And about those people up north, I see where they're coming from. They are used to 50 degree days and all of a sudden it's over 100 degrees. But we live in it all the time so we're used to it. Just my two cents . And yeah, it's freaking hot this time of year!!
