Default Lingenfelter GT1 cam

is anyone running this cam? is this a good cam? i havent seen any talk about this cam, and i saw some vids of it and it performs and sounds awesome. just wanting to know if anyone has experienced this cam in their car and if its even worth buying? im wanting my car to be streetable but it will see the track about 2-3 times a month. only mods i have are full exhaust, headers, lid, k&n, free mods, and a rebuilt tranny(A4). in the future, the car will get a converter, about a 100-150 shot, some suspension work, and heads/cam. would this cam be good for this setup? thanx.

You might try posting in the internal section if you havent already. I know more guys with cams frequent that section.

Also, look in the dyno section to see if anybody with that setup has posted their results.

I dunno anybody running this cam except for the guy on ls1sounds.com

I think his name is D Rock. If you click on the random tech catback you can see a clip of the GT1 cam with that catback.

All I know is it sounds hella good!

Looks like that cam is more set up for a car with stock exhaust manifolds and VERY good heads. With a cam like that you will need some good valve springs like comp 921's or better. You can find you a better cam that that one to suit your needs.

Hey satanz, I'm the one with the car on you tube, i've actually sold the car but that was just the GT1 cam. The GT11 cam on the lingenfelter page is quite different from the one I had. The specs on mine were 218/229 at .050 lift, 113 lsa, .560 lift which is very similar to the hotcam. Let me know if you need any more help.
