My previous best from last week was a 7.7@89mph, I dropped almost 2 seconds & gained almost 2 mph, YEAH BOY
I ran with 2 gallons of gas, Dropped the Passenger seat 30lbs, Dropped NOS Bottle15lbs, Sub Hideaway Box 22lbs I fabbed a HUGE RAM AIR SCOOP but not completely functional, just have the scoop there, still need to run the hose from the scoop to under the air box, But I think it helped, I can cover it with the Bird symbol when I don't want it, So you never knows it there until you pull it off. PRETTY NEAT ACTUALLY, I got the scoop from Home Depot$13.00 bucks for Ram Air & to be honest. I think it's one the best Ram Air kits I have ever had. You have to see it in person to appreciate it.
I ran on 315/17/35 BFG Drag Radials@ 12psi right & 13psi left. My best 60 foot was a 1.68 something.
I can't believe this car, I am very happy with it!
Thanks, everyone for all the tips. They paid off!

What car and what mods? I have a cousin down there that I visit from time to time and I usually head to that track to get some runs in.
I'm waiting for cooler weather before I head back down there for some runs.

I will get some pics of it, It is pretty trick. You have to see the pics to understand the setup. But it's nice & I can hide when I don't want to use the Ram Air & you would never know it's there unless I pull the Bird Cover off where the front license plate goes.
Keep in mind this i a Formula not a T/A so this setup will only work on a Formula front clip!

Yeah just all bolt ons ie:ls6 intake, pulley, air lid,4400 yank stall, and stock water pump, minor suspension mods ie: lca, panhard, shocks.Oh yeah and free mods. But that is still slow to me because my buddy ran 7.3-7.35 with same setup. Side note I ran 3.42 with my stock rear because it was a 6spd. In 6spd form with just macs and borla, same air lid, stock intake it ran 8.38-8.41 all day. No tricks no gimmicks.
