Camaro fire at HMP
This is one reason to make your car safe and then fast. With all the saftey gear in place the driver escaped unharmed and the damage to the car was minor compared to what it could have been.

That was Jackie Deavers Pro Mod that caught fire, I work with a guy in his crew and he said that as of this morning they have no idea what caused the fire. The motor was dropped in Friday morning and they could not get any testing in at Kennedale due to the B.H.R.A. being there so there was no shake down time or test and tune time. But he has the funding to be back really quick.

I retract that was not Jackie Deavers but I was told he also had a fire at HMP as well. Now as for any truth to that well that is to be seen. My bad on the false report.

We were two cars back staging when the fire started. His crew was there along with the track techs after the car stopped. The driver did a damn good job keeping his head and getting out.

Yea, that is KC's car. He owns a chassis shop here in Houston. I beleive they said he left the cap off his fuel cell in the front and when the car came down it spilled everywhere and caught fire.
