I promice you they can because if you want to be a dick about it they will just call the other guy to court and pull his readings.

I've heard that they do that here in Longview on Loop 281 and Alpine road. The other day on my way back from lunch I saw a cycle cop come flying out of the shadows under the overpass. Luckily he was going the other way.

I'd fight it in court, probably an easier argument for the atty, and the DA would probably just drop it.

Damn, good looking out! I pass through there in the early evenings on my way to the gym everday. I never even once paid attention if they are still there around that time. I'll have to keep an eye out.

The laser jammers work, ie hit this link

http://www.radarbusters.com/products...nder-tests.asp

The best on on the market that i have found and has been tested to work perfect is the M20 X Treme.

Laser is watched by the FDA, and can be jammed. It is HIGHLY illegal to have a radar jammer as it is governed by the FCC. You cannot legally jam radar, because it is a FEDERAL offense to do so. As for Laser it is governed by the FDA (food and drug administration) as it can be and is not illegal.
