Default Please help.

Hey guys, here's the situation. 99 SS Camaro. Whenever you pull the blinker/dimmer handle backward, it will not "engage" to either dim or brighten the lights. If you are going down the highway and put your lights on bright, there is no effect when you go to dim your lights by pulling the lever backward, you have to slap it until you get lucky and this is no fun. Anyone else ever had this problem, how do you replace the switch? I hated to post this in the TX forum but there is little activity and absolutely NO response in the general maintenance department.

I had the same problem until recently. I had to use the tilt and raise the steering column all the way, then lower it all the way, then hit the headlight switch to adjust from reg to brights!!! Now I am stuck on brights and am curious how costly... and mainly how complicated of a procedure to remedy.
