Looks nice John. Is that the same Jeep you had at The Texas Mile? If so, it's a lot faster now!

Yeah, it ran 138 at the texas mile. I think it would go over 150 pretty easy now. We sold it, so we wont find out what this one will do but may try to bring another one next month.

Hopefully, we will have this running for the texas mile with more power than it had last time (480 rw hp good for 171 mph):

John with thoose big *** LME motors you have over there that thing is gonna fly!

The track looks great! Please tell me that your hours of operation will be much longer than HRP. Im tired of going to the track on a friday only getting to make 2 passes because the track closes before the evening news is over. Wanna keep people from racing on the streets on the weekends stay open to at least 2am..

doesn't look like there is much "pit" area.... or do you just use the grass for that?

The pit area is grass. But our grass is nicer than some other tracks bumpy, pot holed, worn-out asphalt.

We plan to add a large paved pit area in 2007.

These are the kinds of things we need to hear. If there is demand and a lot of cars at the track (100+) then we would certainly consider staying open later. Saturday nite would be the nite we would likely stay open the latest (past midnite).

Track looks good, makes me wish I hadn't moved away from Fulshear. It was only 15 minutes from Sealy.

I have been there a few times before John purchased it to. The grass pit area is nice as John stated. A paved area will be an improvement in the future, but don't let the grass keep you away.

the same way everybody else has at that track for years and years? If you have a normal floorjack, it will work fine in the grass... if you have something with a very small footprint, bring a peice of plywood to set it on.

I was there shortly after he bought the track and it was still an 1/8th. Very cool track to run at (we were with A&M car club at the time). Definitly alot nicer "feel" to the track than some of the others i've been to. I will be going back.
