Default saleen question

are they slow??? i got in a speed match with one last night and to my surprise i pulled i stayed in front pretty good both times. i thot saleens were pretty quick...did i miss something....or was just HIS car slow

First off, what do you have done to your car?
A stock saleen depending on what year is a 2v 4.6 with a body kit unless it is the supercharged version which is the same engine with a saleen blower.

depends on what u ran here is a run down...

S281=240rwhp
S281SC=330rwhp
S281E=415rwhp

They weight in at around 3350-3400 pounds dry and come with 3.55 gears

my buddy had a 1999 S351 vortech on a 351 did 189mph in it. ironically, he was able to return it under the lemon law, for a TON of things wrong with that car.

yeah depends on the year.... and the driver as well. when i think saleen, i typically don't see some street savvy, speed racer, awesome shifter person driving. it's usually the people that like to keep their cars stock.... and drive them easy. i dunno, not every saleen owner is like that, but some of them are. so if they got a little daring and wanted to race.. they may not be as great of a driver as i'm sure you probably are. but some of the saleen's aren't as fast as everyone thinks.

thats like corvette drivers (well, some of them)
