That's what she said...

Here's a thread from the lounge back-n-the-day. I drove over to Lousiana (about 20 minutes away) and took them. I didn't alter the "Dead End" sign in any way, thought it was pretty cool.
That was a nice little beach town at one point, cabins everywhere. There was almost NOTHING left. They have since started rebuilding.

This cabin has since been featured in Tony Houseman Homes commercials. I suposse it's a bad bitch lol. It does have a slight gangsta lean to it now that I look close, and the stairs are toast.
Here's another angle.....
And here's the temporary pilot of the Z. Notice the "WTFFFFF I GOTTA **** AND THERE'S BEEN NO WORKING TOILETS FOR 50 MILES" look on her face.

Riding it out at Lake Livingston....
Sneaking back into town when it was still raining day of the storm to check out our homes...
What we found in my parents backyard...
The trunk of that tree was a little over 5ft across and had a little over 100 rings that we counted.
Tons other pics from that day here...

Parents were pretty lucky that the tree didnt fall on their house (just the neighbors garage), brother had almost no damage, my GF at the time lost her townhouse due to damage, my sec. at work lost her home due to damage, my friends house had a tree though their bedroom, and there was a lot of cleanup everywhere.
To sum it all up in two words....
HURRICANES SUCK!

I evacuated to my house on Lake Livingston, people everywhere, no electricity. I came back home to Lake Jackson, my house did not even loose electricity. I was never so glad to have to come home and take down plywood. I did not complain at all.
