I would do something like that, but insurance is not writing me the check. Also my car is a DD. I need it back Asap as my insurance is not paying for my rental much longer.

Yup..but the water really wasn't deep. Not one other car had a problem going through it. I even saw a camaro go through.

Maybe you should buy a jeep and a snorkle setup with it?

Me = pwn3d.

Nice looking car BTW... TTII's and BFG's.

For 5800, I'd have a H/C 346 built and install it myself.

The problem is the insurance won't give HIM a check. He has to take it somewhere, they give him an invoice w/ the estimated cost, and the insurance gives that shop funds.

lme would be my first choice but i think he is looking for a shop to actaully take it to and have the work done...so if i was u i would go to mti and have them give you the invoice with a lme motor perhaps a budget 408 or a forged347

Exactly, Plus I don't have the time right now to even build a motor..I've had that fun already when my dad and I built a 396 for the Imp.

Yeah that's when it happened. I was on Rock Prairie Rd. I was at the light taking a left to go to the wells fargo.

Should I go for cubic inches like an iron 408 and keep a stock top end, or maybe go iron 370 with maybe some of those new l92 heads with the l76 intake?
I could get a nice 347 with that too right?

You guys know what's a fair deal on some of this stuff?

I can find a shop to install and buy the engine..
For the most part I'm just trying to find out what's the best bang for the buck engine I can get.

If you talk to the agent with estimate in hand there is no reason why they shouldnt give you the check directly....
