GSP owned Hughes!!! Awesome fight! I didn't see a thread here about the fight so what did you guys think??
I thought Pierre was well prepared for the fight! He looked sharp and his kicks were precise...Hughes just looked lost out there....
First, Rich Franklin loses (Which I thought would be impossible), and now Matt Hughes....(I really thought BJ Penn would of beaten Hughes but I think he really wasn't given enough time to train for that fight.)
Will the next champion to fall be Chuck Liddel against Tito???? Hmm.....

There was a thread that Strini started but Tony keeps locking them

From what I saw, Hughes didnt look like he was mentally prepared, it looked like he was just going through the motions.
And I'm sure the two kicks to the ballz didn't help either. LOL.

Sadly, Matt got too cocky and believed waaay too much in his standup. It woulda been different if the ball kicking was kept to a minimum and if Hughes stuck to what he knows best ... ground & pound.
With that said, I think GSP is awesome!!! Can't wait for III and for Chuck/Tito II and hopefully Chuck/Wand I
