FS: LS1 Camaro SS Hood OEM I have a SS Hood for sale, I would use it but I don't own a Camaro. It was thrown in a package deal. I'm only listing it here because i don't want to ship. If you want it, drive to austin to pick it up. It is an OEM Hood from a 01 SS.

Pickup arrangement will be made by my shipper, so as soon as you recieve payment you will deduct your actual amount and extra $120 for wiring the rest of the funds to my shipper via WESTERN UNION TRANSFER who will be at your location for the pick up.and $100 for your runing around confirm this and get back to me with neccessary details I await your response.

how do you want me to do that. I am sure the guy who sold it to me is not a liar for starters. He had every piece of OEM SS and his 10 Spoke Chrome Wheels with other parts around his garage, not to mention over $100,000 in racing investments. I know under neath the plate that mounts to the shocks has some type of numbers just like my firehawk hood on my firehawk. so other than that how do i do that?

Man this guy I will tell you what we were trying to work out a deal on this. He wanted me to paypal him all the money then he would have meet me half way if I paid for his gas to buy the hood. Told me 650.00 for the hood and 80.00 for his gas to meet me.I tried to have him let me paypal him 100.00 in good faith and he tells me he was scared to travel with that much money. So he wanted me to paypal him the full amout. Ofcourse I did not like this because I have tried to buy an ss spoiler on here like 3 times and have been scammed everytime. So I was just covering my end. Thne in the middle of our discussing the issues he puts the hood on ebay for 1000.00 buy it now. And he sends me an email telling me he served in our beloved army for 13 years and he was a sunday school teacher and that he serves god. Which I have no clue what has to do with this sale. Then I look at his ebay auction and the hood is cracked underneath which he never disclosed to me at all. his hood is 1000.00 plus 105 shipping. Or I can buy a brand new sunoco hood for 500.00 pluss about 400 to paint. I will watch the auction to see what it does. Just thought the whole thing was kinda shady to do.. Sorry about long post....What are any of you other guys thoughts on this??

i just glanced over this thread and i saw the western union thing. i work in a bank and we see this scam all the time. Someone will send you a bogus cashiers check for a certain amount and then ask you to wire an amount to them. The check, once veridfied will be returned, and the person who wired the money will be out that amount and will be liable for the losses. Also, wires do NOT cost $180. I'm sure the amount varies from institution to institution, but our cost is $25. It doesnt matter what dollar amount or where its going, its a flat fee. There is also a $12.50 charge to receive them. If its too good to be true it probably is......
