Being in jewelry I know you must have paid a pretty penny to custom make that ring. How much did the jeweler charge to simply make the mold for the ring? Id venture betwee $400-$600 just for the mold, not even taking into effect the gold or workmanship.

Man, I STILL haven't got this car runnig right. The headers are in from Jet-Hot, have been for some time. Silly girls taking all the time I'll be putting it all back together real soon, now that the cold weather can't hold me back. Nothing worse than bloody knuckles in the freezing cold. Looking at getting an LT1 SS spoiler soon, who knows. I'm switching jobs right now, so we'll see how it all turns out.

I'm not going to say how much I paid for the ring....its all about who you know not what you know right? But I will say that we just got it appraised yesterday and it came back to be worth over double what I paid for it, all said and done. I'm pleased with that. It was really a cool experience to see it from wax to finished. And he does it all by hand too, not just autoCAD. He's one of the old school guys. Even last minute, he changed somethings for me on the ring. For the whole ring, I paid what the center stone alone is worth. I'm pleased with that! Total carat weight for the whole thing ended up being 1.75 -- I'm VERY pleased with that.

I am truly a guy who believes that you always try to out-do the one you love. Its a never ending thing to aspire towards. She took me to Bowling Green Kentucky for a surprise trip to the Nat'l Corvette Museum and Corvette Assembly Plant for Christmas. That completely blew me away! Then when she was asked by some girls what Valentine's meant to her, she replaied "I feel like every single day is my day, that's just how he makes me feel. He doesn't need a speacial day marked on the calendar to buy a card and flowers. If anything its just a day for both of us to ignore the world and just focus on each other." What a great girl!! I'm very fortunate!!!

To everyone else who said congrats, THANK YOU!! It has already been an incredible journey, and I can't wait to share the wedding pics with you. What a great community! That's why I love this hobby.
