Question 1987 cadillac sedan deville

is this car a good car to have, my girls step-dad has one he wants to sell me. a real good deal it has 50k on it and been well taken care of, and only for 1800 and i can pay in payments so its a good deal but i heard it depends on what engine because there are some out there that suck bad always messing up! i think they said it was a 2100? let me know what yall think, thanks!

4100 is the engine that most people want to say away from. To me 85-87 sedan devilles are worst looking ones. I wouldnt give 1800 for it.
