Default Houston: source in town for steel angle

Anyone in the construction/fab biz have a good source for small quantities of 1x1x 3/8 or so angle steel? I need to acquire about 8 feet for a project. If they also have steel pipe in ID's less than 2", that would be huge too.

Thanks ya'll.

Try Triple-S steel supply. They have a location on jensen dr, and a location on Monroe.

I get my stock from Rose Steel. If you need a really small amount (less than 3 or 4 feet), Home Depot has a metal stock section.

3/8" seems very thick for 1"x1" angle ... you might have a hard time finding that size.

Quarter might work, but I was going off a site that allows you to order quantities on the web. Unfortunately, the shipping was as much as the quantity of angle I need. I am flexible on the sizes more or less, but I must have angle, and it needs to be fairly stout.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Oh, and Ross and Neil - you will be lucky if you do not get enlisted to help at some point, so you might just see.

I just got back from Triple S - if you have not been there, it is a fabbing Shangri La. If I had known they carried consumables for my MIG and a bunch of other fun toys there is no way I would have gotten in and out of there in 10 minutes.
