Default grinding calipers for weld draglites?

anyone know of any local dfw shop that can grind them or will grind them for some draglites to fit without rubbing? and at a fair price?

i'm glad i never had to do it personally, one of my buddies did it at my shop once, took a couple hours of trial and error. i guess with the right tools it might be easier but with the big huge grinder we had it wasn't that great.

There's no way man. I find it hard to believe it only took you LESS than an hour. Aren't LT1 calipers different than LS1s though?

You don't sand man. You grind. With a grinder + grinding wheel. I feel kinda sorry for you though.. sanding with 80 grit-

Yep LT1 calipers are different than LS1 calipers...especially the part where you DON'T need to grind LT1 calipers to make them to fit 15's. With 15's you can either do the swap to LT1 calipers OR grind you LS1 calipers...I can't believe someone used 80 grit sandpaper...you must have GUNS for arms by now bro. hahah! Grinder will make easy work that of that metal and give you an excuse to paint them up all nice too.

theres a right up somewhere to help you out and polish them if you feel lost. easy though but a big time consuming pita.

Sorry but I said nothing about sanding, I have an angle grinder and YES they have different grits, i had 80, so im going to 36 grit next time. As for the LT1 calipers, LT1 calipers dont need grinding @ all. 1/8 spacer in front, 1/4 in rear and bolt right up.
