DFW guys, any of you heading to Houston soon? I need to get a block and crank from Erik at HKE, and I don't really have the time right now to go down and get it myself. Is anyone planning a trip in the near future looking to make a little extra cash to pick it up?

Not sure if it would be within your price region, but check out Uship.com. I found someone to drive my Vette from Las Vegas to Houston for ridiculously cheap - I know, who wouldn't want to do that - but it was an older couple who like to tour the country and got cheap airfare.
Worth a look at least..
It's basically a site for people to post and look for items to transport on planned trips.

NOPE..... he is not the holdup on my car. We are waiting on HKE to finish the block and for REV to release the new valves for the L92 head. I already have everything else besides CTV Lifters from SPDC.
Done:
-Cam
-TB
-Intake
-Headers
-Transmission
Waiting:
-Valves for Heads
-Shortblock
I am hoping to have it all in the next few weeks.... but it is out of my hands.
TRT does make trips to Houston 2 times a month.
