Oppinions on performance shops in Houston?
1stly,
i'm new to LS1(a month or so old) but nonetheless addicted.
Ok so i'm looking to have a cam swap done on my car a little down the road (i like to research extensively before i do something) and wanted to know if anyone had any oppinions on who i should bring it to?
i know all the major Houston places do TOP NOTCH work, but i'm just curious to know if anyone felt strongly one way or the other...
Thanks for your input!

you know i am not bashing the people that do it, but it just bothers me when i try to talk to people about their cars and the only response is, "mti did it" or "hpe did it"!!!! i am not bashing them either, i am sure they do great work! it is great if you have the money to do it, but if you have a driveway then it is an easy weekend swap. once you have done it once, then it would be about a 4 hour job after you know what you r doing.
do it yourself the swap is not hard at all! there are plenty of step by step guides on the net to show how to do it. honestly it is really hard to mess something up! just my .02
installuniversity.com <good site for step by step stuff!

I would probably go with ICON to tune it if it were me and I lived down in Houston, heck, I have thought about taking my car down there when it is finished to have Mike do the tune. His work speaks for itself.
