Help my friend pass emissions with my old 95 lt1 from ohio. My friend just moved to texas and had my old lt1 delivered pretty much when he got there. Well the car never had to do emisions so i never cared about cats and stuff ect.
Mods include:
Shory Headers w/egr and Air
Magnaflow catback
bbk 52mm TB
K*N intake
lt4 knock mod
and !cat
Stuff thats new:
Plugs/wires
Distrubter
waterpump
msd coil
ICM
FUEL PUMP
Well he takes it to the shop they install a flowmaster high flow cat(didnt even know they made one) and they test it and he failed on NOX by 200. I know nox is helped by the EGR.
Is there anything he can put in the tank to help him just pass? Should he just drive the thing for a while? Does he need to break in that cat?
Also he lives in bedford outside of dallas.
