60-130 Tx2k7
There was an event at the TX2K7 national meet here in Houston where they did a new thing called the 60-130 pass.
This is an acually test they do in all the write ups for Car and Driver, etc.
- It was a fun event and different to say the least.
Here are the results.
For the sake of comparison, here are some 60-130 times for some fast production cars:
6.1 - Saleen S7 Twin Turbo
6.9 - Mosler MT900S
7.0 - Ferrari Enzo
7.3 - Porsche Carrera GT
8.9 - Mercedes SLR McLaren
9.1 - Porsche 993 RUF Turbo R (100 octane)
9.2 - Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06
9.4 - Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0
9.5 - Ferrari F430
10.9 - Lamborghini Murcielago
11.7 - Ferrari Challenge Stradale
12.1 - Lamborghini Gallardo
12.2 - Porsche 996 TT
I couldnt launch in the powerband in 2nd I would just spin but I hit 3rd from the starting line and eased into it till 60.
- I am sure if I did it more then 2 times I would have got a better pass.
Pleased with the results compared to some of the other "big dogs"

Hey guys, ok, more detailed results. The ONLY problem is that I do NOT know the names/cars that correspond to each of these car numbers. For those that I do know, they are labeled next to the numbers of the car. Each car I listed their best two runs. The first number is 60-100 and the second is 60-130. At the beginning of the day was the best time to record your quickest runs as the track was hooking. By the end of the day, it got slippery and many folks could not get traction worth a lick! In any event, enjoy the results below:
