Another Electric problem.

Question Another Electric problem.

so ive got this problem in my hand and i dont know where to start. i know where/who to take it to but i would like to see if i can fix it.

the problem.
everytime i have my fog lights turned on. my rear lamp fuse breaks.

The lovely process of elimination.


Perhaps they are fused together, I'm not sure though.
I would trace down your fog light switch and wires,
since obviously the fuse blows ONLY when your fog lights are turned on.
The multi-meter is your friend.
Make sure and check the continuity of the wires first.

pull the fog light relay to determin if it is before or after it.

Sounds like you have your fogs tapped into your dome light power source, and not going through a relay. Are the fogs stock, or is this something that you wired up?
