Default My 396 is done!

I finally picked up my 396 from Hans Feustals the other day. Motor is in the car, just waiting on a few misc pieces to get it started. Here is the combo:

3.875 stroke
4.030 bore
6.0L block
ET 245 heads
SQR solid roller...pretty small for a solid cam
Kooks 1 7/8-2"..big thanks to Josh for letting me borrow them.
GMPP carb intake
Elbow with a NW 90
NX carb Plate
Sid Neal PG
Neal Chance converter
9"
A/C...for Billy at SQR

Once I get it tuned, I'll post some numbers. I'm ready to hit the track again and make it out of the burn-out box

Sounds like a nice set up, ought to make good power. I see that Hans is doing more and more LSX stuff here lately, just out of curiousity is he reasonably priced?

nah, he's not out of your league Mark. But he is pricey. The best usually is though. Hans is a real nice guy, everyone up there is infact. I went up there last week to pickup my motor stand and they even loaded it in the truck for me...and no I didn't ask them to.

I don't expect any record setting numbers on motor. Its pretty mild. I'd be happy with 450

I haven't got the final bill yet, but he did some much extra, so it is hard to compare. He is usually in line with other shops on pricing.
