Speedway Children’s Charity-Laps for Charity-May 12th, 2007 Texas Motor Speedway
Just curious to see if anyone is interested in going to Texas Motor Speedway and have fun driving your car on the track. Has an LS1Tech group ever met up together and did this?
Cost
$30 for 3 laps
$10 for a 5x7 picture in victory circle.
Times
7-10pm for public entry
5-7pm for groups or clubs (must make resevation)
Any feed back?

You are behind a pace car that is doing 70. It is not a race, it is just an experience. If you start messing aroudn and being reckless they will immediately stop the laps and they will escort you out. I know this because I was in a group that was stopped. It was not me that was the problem but someone else.
But, yes it would be fun to open it up.

I posted this on another site ...
Exiting T4 at triple digit speeds has the outside wall coming at you really, REALLY fast.
I instruct at TMS for Texas Driving Experience, driving C5 Z06s. Entering T3 at anything over 125 on street tires will see your car climb the hill and that makes T4 even worse.
