Default AC problem

Has anyone with a big cam had any problems with the AC pulley hitting the hard line right under it and cutting a hole into it?

My AC was just blowing hot air so I had the shop next to my office look at it and he just showed me that. He has to replace the hard line, flush the system for dirt then recharge everything.

I want to dump the AC and install a turbo now!!

I dont see how a big cam would have any effect on cutting an A/C line.. Whoever installed your cam probably bent that line and left it too close to the pulley

The motor seems to "bounce" pretty close to it but that might make sense. Either way, I have to get a new one and have the whole system cleaned and recharged! Its gonna be about 400 to 500 bucks.
