This happened at school 2 weeks ago.....

We had a sub for 3 days...

Taylor (caucasian student) threw candy at the substitute teacher.

- he got 5 days SAC (in school suspension)

I (half caucasian, half asian) turned off 1 light switch (2 per room) when the class was leaving.

- i got 3 days SAC

Some african american students were repeatedly banging on the desks and rapping in sync with each other out loud (3 days in a row)

- they got a "stern talking to"

I see what the principal (african american) did there....

Lets just say I work with these kind of kids, agg robbery ,sexual assault , burg , Murder ect. Makes me hug my kids every night before they go to sleep ,your kids go through alot more **** than we did at school [I'm 38 yrs] when they complain about a situation at school you better take them serious.I have worked with the adult correctional system as well the system is a revolving door discapline starts in the home, teachers cannot raise your kids. Some one who knows .

Kids are not born bad they aquire the lifestyle after learning from bad examples. I have also seen kids turn completely around, but some kids just don't have the positive advise to learn from.We all need to pay attention to are kids more closely even if you don't make alot of money you can still raise kids to be successful if you just pay attention when they talk to you.Race dosen't matter, education is the key as well as teaching them how to respect them self. Respect is not learned by fear but I am a firm believer that in the old day's a hard head made for a soft behind!

I worked at a middle school for a year when i was in college, lets just say that everything you described those 6-8th graders did. As far as the race, i'm not going to comment....
