Default Whats my car worth? Needs motor work.

To sum it all up, its a 2000 WS6 with all the ****. Full bolt-ons, TR224 cam, NOS wet kit, new tires, rebuit 6spd, in great condition 80k miles. Ran the motor low on oil last week and sounds like a bearing is bad, what could I get for the whole car?

Without a running engine, offers like that are more reasonable than you think. An 80K mile car with bolt ons would maybe be worth $12k running tops. Figure another $3K for a rebuilt shortblock and $1500 labor and the prices start to suffer.

In the end, a blown engine car is just like buying a rolling chassis with a tranny. Those are worth $8-10K tops with those miles.

edit: Tony said it for me, also with LS1 F-Cars getting older, easier to find a fairly complete roller for not all that much
