98 is not a TBI motor.. not really sure what you are asking though.. are you just needing a long block for a 98?

Shoot me the last 8 of your VIN and we'll see what the General offers crate engine wise for your truck!

Don't you have anything to contribute but hate.

This young man is using this forum to obtain information from other members. Thankfully, there are those that are here to help and don't get a rush out of being a hater.

Well XwoMAN, considering you guys own a "high" end machine shop, I hold you liable for knowing what engine goes with what. Obviously that is not the case, so I have no respect for said shop. Good day now.

Hutto you really come off as just stirring **** everytime you post. Your skills in building fast cars are being marred by your responses to other members. Chill out with the hate.

This is Matt, brother. Just because we live together doesn't mean he's on my name. He's banned! He's out doing what he does...Working in the garage or sitting at his day job.

If you want to see some rust bucket pics, Ill go get some when I go to storage. I inherited it from pops. He kinda handed it down since he knew he would never refinish it. Many, many hot rod stories in it. 11 Vette motors, wheel standing on the streets etc. I never got to ride in it, but my oldest brother did. I wasnt out yet if that tells you how long ago it ran hard. When my brother got it as his first car the straight 6 thats in it now was put in for him to drive on the dirt roads to school. Pretty neat little history behind it. Believe it or not, the 6 still fires off to this day..LOL

Nice, at GoodGuys it seemed to be the thing to have a straight 6 in there. I dont know if it was originality or Gas prices that made it that way though haha.
