I have a speeding ticket and the fine is $300 60/35mph

the fee to hire the acclaimed David Sprecher is $200

Personally i'd rather give the money to a lawyer than support a city via speeding tickets.(i'll prolly get reprimanded for this statement, but oh well)

anyway my question is this.....How likely will it be that my ticket is thrown out? I've heard lots of stories on here about people hiring Mr. Sprecher and they paid his fee and that was it....the ticket was dismissed.

but what allows for a ticket to be thrown out? am i going to have to pay the lawyer fee AND the fine?

i'm not sure how all this stuff works so i need some advice~

Sprecher will find a way to get it dismissed. He is THE best.

Is this your first ticket? Have you taken defensive driving recently? Are you on deferred adjudication?

it's my first texas ticket.

i've gotten probably 3 in louisiana.

and i've never taken defensive driving, or been on deferred adjudication.

Don't bother with a Lawyer then. Just go to court and ask for defensive driving. If you get another ticket after that... then get a lawyer.
