Default Buying tires in Houston

Where is the best place to get a set of rear tires for my Z06 in Houston / North Houston? I will probably end up wanting a set of Nitto Drag radials.

Thanks!

getting tires at a retail store is always going to be more than tirerack. but discount tire is usually pretty good at having tires in stock locally. i was able to pick up some 315 nitto dr's from a DT down my street.

Just picked up my Nitto DRs from the Discount Tire on 2920 @ Kuykendall.

-ask for Stephen and he'll take care of you.

Note: I'll be hunting your Z06 in The Woodlands.

That's good to know, I'm moving really close to that area this weekend. I'm in need of a couple front tires. Can I trust him to take the wheels off there, or should I just take in the wheels by themselves?

Didn't work for me. They said they wouldn't match it because you still have to pay for shipping afterwards.

Yes, they will, but they charge you for mounting, balancing, and installation, which they do not do if you buy tires from them. Not surprisingly, the price of the tires from tirerack + m/b/i is roughly equal to their price. Convenient, isn't it?

Just my experience.
