Default Need help. Cars way to loud.

Just got my car running today and it is way to loud. Mods are in my sig but in a nut shell it is a MS4 through Kooks 1 3/4 x 1 7/8, ORY and corsa cat back. Don't really want to put converters on. Anyone have a suggestion on how to quiet this thing down. I know the cops are going to be all over me.

I took magnaflow off my car to put the corsa on. I love the sound there is just too much of it.

Put a bullet in the I-pipe, it will quiet it down and clean it up a bit.

or you could try a hooker catback, or at least a hooker muffler, very nice sound, and not too loud at all

I have pretty much the same setup with a different brand header and the cops havent messed with me, yet. I get lots of looks from them as I pass by them but havent been pulled over. I wouldnt change things until you start to get harrassed unless you just arent happy with the noise and want it different.

I know you said you don't want cats, but I put some hiflow cats on my SS and it sounded good and was still loud enough. Also didn't hurt me on the dyno to much. I was running a trex cam

I hear ya, cops loved my old exhaust. They would just follow me sometimes, it got real annoying. I had a loud mouth and just swapped it out with another SLP catback and its way quiter...like crazy quite, now you can just hear my cam. I have heard a lot about the hooker catback being pretty good or like others mentioned the Maganflow muffler is good to.

+2 for hooker. It's really quiet

But seriously, what were you expecting when you went to put in that MS4?

I don't think you can really do much besides put on cats.
An x-pipe will quiet it down some too on acceleration since you won't have rasp

You've obviously never been behind my car

240 degrees of exhaust duration might have a little to do with it though

The Corsa is not doing you any justice. Installing cats may help, but I don't see it doing alot to quiet it.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I ended up pulling the corsa off and putting on a 3 1/2 flowmaster super 40. It sounds really good and it helped alot. It still has a little rasp to it but it isn't bad.
