Default P0101: MAF sucks at life

Howdy! Definitely just got this code today when I was playing around comin back from my buddies house. I was going WOT in Third when the SES light popped on so I stopped by Oreilly's on the way home and apparently I got this code. I was almost certain it was going to be my cats gone bad again but apparently not.

Ok...what is there that I can do to fix this problem? Since its a Range/Performance problem, I am assuming it may not be the MAF itself and maybe one of the other sensors.

Does anyone have an LS1 MAF sitting around or maybe an LS6 if it is compatible jsut to check and see and maybe ill buy from you?
thanks -Karl

Get a SLP MAF. My maf went bad the day after i bought my car. A few mods later I finally fixed it with an slp one. I picked up .5 seconds. Its just an LS6 MAF that they modified.

I had the same thing happen to me once. Do what Firehawk #07 said. That was my problem and it was from a little to much oil on the K&N. If that doesn't work I may have another MAF laying around the house.

P101 is Maf Performance code most likely the maf still works. Check the engine sensors fuse under the hood. Have you been tuned? What mods do you have on your car?

I was getting this code and found that I was getting unmetered air leaking in after the maf. Make sure all your intake connections are good an not leaking air.
