I was racing a buddy of mine (in the other red z28, near lane) and decided i was gonna get out of the hole quick on him to show him up. This was my very first and last run of the day. But hey the Mickey Thompson Drag Radials hooked! haha Enjoy!

This video worries me, BFG Drags+550rwhp+4.10 Gears are gonna=dead 10 bolt, maybe ill just spray in 2nd or set my WS up at like 5k so i can get rolling before it hits.

I wouldn't even spray in 2nd. That much hp and it might go shifting into 3rd!

yah i have actually been told the slicks are a little easier on your 10 bolt to an extent b/c they "give" a little. Instead of the case of my mickey thompson drag radials.......no givvie! haha

good ears john! Yah that was rusty recording. The guy i was racing is an old friend from high school. He just bought that car. (2002 Z28 with only 20,000 miles). The only mods he has is a GMMG and lid. But he wanted to go to the track so bad so i went with him. And nope i dont have another spare. BUT....i sold the mickeys and am rolling on street tires until i get done with college (one year).

Please tell me your joking, I knew I might be chancing it with the 1st to 2nd shift, I was gonna set the MSD to like 5-5.5k and come out a little soft so I can get hooked up before it hit. Im not even gonna consider coming out on the juice.
