Default what diff. does my m6 have?

i have a m6 7.5 10bolt rear end.... and i was wondering if it was limited slip or posi? can someone help me please

You have a LImited slip, limited slip and posi traction are one in the same. "Posi Tractions" are limited slip differentials, Posi Traction is just a Chevrolet brand name that gets used as a generic term for limited slip differentials. You get differences when you get in to spools and lockers, neither is considered a limited slip or Posi as its often refered to.

well my 99 had an auburn, but everything i read said all LT1's and 98's had it. the 99+ was supposed to have Zexel.
