Default ? on ethanol in dfw gas

anybody know of any bad side effects of using 93 octane with the 10 percent ethanol in it that they sell arround here?

been like that for a while now, the only side effect that i have ever HEARD was that it would make the nitrous fuel noid swael up and lean out the engine, but i just HEARD about it

10 percent wont hurt, it actually helps prevent detonation a little more, but on the flip side it makes it help more to have a high energy ignition.

basically your paying more for less, the ethinal is like "watered" down gas, you loose alittle mpg but reduce you emissions alittle, so all in all we are paying more for less gas, go gas system! lol

yea its been like this a while now. i personally think that there is more than 10% in most of the fuel, but thats just my opinion i guess

one thing i noticed was teh V-power fuel from Shell goes faster, guessing ontop of the cleaning stuff they put in and the eth that they add ontop of that it really thin's it out.

if you goto Johnson County, they don't stock Ethanol....

99% of the country has been like this for YEARS... its only because of recent ethanol hype that people even noticed.
